Eley Lot Numbers:

The system de-coding lot numbers for Eley products has changed over the years.

The latest is as follows:

         Tenex EPS example:

             Lot#UHZ 1234

"U"  identifies this as a Tenex Ultimate Product.

"H"  is year of production 2003  ("F"- 2001,  "G"- 2002,  "H"- 2003)

"Z"  is the Z crimp machine  (this machine is used once and then replaced)

"1"  is the 1 Machine   (The first number is the Machine used for loading.)

"234" is the 234th lot number.

Thus this Tenex is the 234th lot made in 2003 off the number 1 Machine.

      Match EPS example:

           Lot#MH1234

"M"  identifies this as a Match EPS product.

"H"  is year of production 2003  ("F"- 2001,  "G"- 2002,  "H"- 2003)

"1"  is the 1 Machine   (The first number is the Machine used for loading.)

"234" is the 234th lot number.

Thus this Match EPS is the 234th lot made in 2003 off the number 1 machine.

If a number I.E. 1055  appears below the lot number this is the 'Feet Per Second'.

Thanks to Bob this should clear up the confusion.  For all your Eley needs or questions drop Bob an E-mail he is a pleasure to deal with and a wealth of knowledge.
